Saree care instructions
- Always maintain your silk saree in the cotton pouch provided or wrap the saree in a white cotton cloth
- At least twice in a month open the saree, change the folding to avoid the greases
- Do not dry clean the saree as the starch will damage the nature of the fabric
- Use silica gel packets or dried neem leaves in the wardrobe to absorb moisture and repel insects
- Use low heat and iron on the reverse side, ideally placing a cotton cloth between the iron and the silk
- Spray perfumes, hairsprays, or deodorants on the body, not directly on the silk, as they can cause permanent stains
- Be careful with sharp jewelry that can snag the fabric
- Do not hang for long periods, as it can cause stretching or creases; use padded hangers if necessary
